【摘要】:Thepurposeofthispracticeistodelineateinformationandtoestablishproceduresfortheoperationofabumperboatamusementride.Thedeviceisasinglecraft,unattachedtoothercraftorcommonframesystem.Itisnon-humanpoweredwithoutconnectiontoacommonenergysource.Itisdrivercontrolledwithrespecttoacceleration,speed,andsteering.1.1Thispracticeestablishescriteriaforthedesign,manufacture,andoperationsofbumperboats.Theseareboatsusedtobumpintoeachotherintentionallyasdirectedbydriversasaformofentertainment.Boatsarefittedwithaninflatableorimpactattenuatingdevicetoallowforsuchbumping.1.2ThispracticefollowsPracticesF1193andF770asthebasiclevelofsafetyforbumperboats.Thesepracticesshallbefollowedforallbumperboatsunderthispractice.Thispracticeshallincludeallmodifications,improvements,anddeviationstodesign,quality,manufacture,construction,ownership,operation,inspection,andmaintenanceofabumperboat1.3Thispracticedoesnotapplytopersonalwatercraft,humanpoweredwatercraft,orwatercraftusedforgeneralpurposesbyprivateowners.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
