【摘要】:Thistestmethodisparticularlysuitableforqualitycontrolintheapplicationofinsulatingcoatings.Surfaceinsulationresistivityisevaluatedfromadccurrentthatcanrangefrom0(perfectinsulator)to1A(perfectconductor).Singlereadingsshouldnotbeconsideredsignificantsincethenatureofthetestdeviceandspecimenaresuchthatsuccessivemeasurementsofaspecimenoftenyielddifferentvalues.1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansoftestingthesurfaceinsulationresistivityofsinglestripsorpunchingsofflat-rolledelectricalsteelunderpredeterminedconditionsofvoltage,pressure,andtemperature.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
