【摘要】:Devicescoveredbythisperformancestandardaredesignedprimarilytosupplywatertofloordraintrapswhichhaveinfrequentuseandinwhichwaterevaporationwouldallowsewergastoenterthepremises.Thetypeofdevicecoveredbythisstandardisdesignedtosupplywatertoadraintraptoprovideandmaintainitswatersealusingasupplyfromafixturedrainline,ballcock,orflushometervalvetailpieceoranelectronicprimerdevice.Therateofwaterflowtothetrapshallbepermittedtobefixedoradjustable.Thedevicesareoffour(4)types:Thosewhichareinstalledonwastelinetailpiecesfromfixtures,suchaslavatories,sinksandsimilarfixtureswheregreaseisnotnormallygenerated;thosewhichareusedinconjunctionwithballcockassemblies;thosewhichreceiveflowfromflushometervalves;andthoseelectronicsdeviceswhichdischargewaterautomaticallyandwhichareupstreamoftheairgaporvacuumbreaker.
