【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationfordesignandconstructionofportablehand-heldbrush-cuttersandgrass-trimmerswithabackpack-mountedcombustion-enginepowersource.Itisnotapplicabletounitswithanintegratedpowersource,tolawnedge-trimmersortobrush-cuttersequippedwithmetallicbladesconsistingofseveralparts.Itdescribesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheiruse.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.Itdoesnothowevergiveanytechnicalrequirementstoreducenoiseandvibrationhazards.Indeedthedifferentmeansavailabletoreducethesehazardsareamatterforthetechnicalaidstowhichthemanufacturermayresort,throughspecializedbooksorspecificbodies.ThelistofsignificanthazardsdealtwithrequiringactiontoreducetheriskisgiveninannexA.EnvironmentalaspectshavenotbeenconsideredinthisInternationalStandard.ThisInternationalStandardisprimarilyapplicabletomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueoftheInternationalStandard.
